Our company was founded by our Chaiman, Mr. A.Karunakaran, an IIT Kanpur alumni and an experienced technocrat who has been engaged in the top management of the country’s leading manufacturing companies such asTVS Electronics, Whirlpool of India Ltd and Hero Motors.

History and Achievements :
TMN Biofuels has a wealth of experience on the various facets of the biodiesel value chain, right from the cultivation of various biofuel crops to diverse usage and applications of biodiesel. We started as company that was involved in the promotion of bio-fuel crops like Jatropha Curcas in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and gradually moved into the production of biodiesel. Noticing the increasing demand for available food production and the recurring clut for edible and non-edible seeds confronted by other biodiesel producers, we moved into R& D efforts for the production of biodiesel from the wastes across the vegetable oil value chain. Our biggest achievement is our ability to produce quality biodiesel from various wastes in the vegetable oil value chain that cannot be used by other biodiesel producers across India. This ensures that TMN Biofuel Pvt. Ltd. is the most cost effective source of quality biodiesel in India. Our other major achievements are the accolades and prizes that our business model and business plan has received in Start-up @ Singapore, a national level business plan competition by the National University of Singapore and Government of Singapore, and the McGinnis Venture competition at Carnegie Mellon University.
